Promaster Cleaning and Restoration Services LLC (“Promaster,” “we,” “us”) operates promasterct.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form on the Site we collect what you enter:
- Request an on-site assessment / contact form: name, phone number, email address (optional), property address (optional), whether you are the owner, agent, adjuster or property manager, the type of service needed, whether you have contacted your insurer, your message, and whether the request is an emergency.
- Newsletter signup: your email address and the service area (MD or CT) you selected.
- Testimonial form: your name, your review, a star rating and your state.
- Live chat: anything you type into the chat widget, which is provided by Tidio (see “Third-party services”).
Information collected automatically. To protect our forms from automated abuse we record a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string with each form submission. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs. We do not use advertising trackers.
Cookies. The Site sets a functional cookie (promaster_location) that remembers whether you chose Maryland or Connecticut so the correct phone numbers and content are shown. It contains no personal information and expires after 30 days. Tidio sets its own cookies to keep your chat session. You can delete or block cookies in your browser; the Site still works without them.
How we use information
- To respond to your request, dispatch a crew, schedule an assessment and perform the work.
- To contact you by phone, text message or email about your request (you agree to this when you submit the contact form).
- To send the newsletter you signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To publish testimonials you submit, after review, with your name as you entered it.
- To detect and prevent spam, fraud and abuse of the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations, including insurance and licensing record-keeping.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run the Site on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (bot protection on forms), Resend (transactional email) and Tidio (live chat). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
- Your insurance company or adjuster, when you ask us to document a claim.
- Subcontractors working on your property, limited to what they need for the job.
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena or to protect safety.
Retention
Inquiry records are kept as long as needed to perform and document the work and for the period required by our insurance, licensing and tax obligations. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Spam submissions are deleted periodically.
Your choices
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message from us.
- Access, correction or deletion: email info@promasterct.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may keep records we are legally required to keep.
Security
Form submissions are sent over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled databases. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
